Sand Dollar Art

My mother, sister, and I got together and decided to go with a "Key West" themed bridal shower. I was born there and our honeymoon was in the bahamas. Plus I love the beach. As favors we bleached and dried sand dollars which you can also buy from a store...we had our own...like I said...beach girl. We all sat down and painted different beach scenes on them. We then in fine tip marker wrote the date on the bottom and "Key West" Bridal Shower on the top. We glued little button magnets on the back and after they dried we sprayed each with a clear overcoat. We gave these personalized sand dollar art magnets as shower favors to all the guests. |
