Gold fish and floating candles

My cousin was having a destination wedding in Hawaii. So the shower theme was tropical. We filled inexpensive glass bowls with water and put small marbles in the bottom in bright colors, then put a goldfish in each bowl. (We purchased them at the pet store for about 55 cents a piece). Then during the party we lit floating candles and placed in each bowl.

Then, at the end of the shower we gave the fish and their bowls away to guests as a party favor.

My mother kept one and that fish lived for 10 years!
